'Love Without Reason'

We met LaRayia at the Powerful U conference in Los Angeles. And were inspired by her passion to provide healthy food, wellness and compassion to the homeless in Los Angels and now in New York. She is the Founder of ‘Lunch On Me’ and leads a team of five women. There are so many inspiring moments in this conversation. It was a privilege to sit down with LaRayia and have her share her story.

A documentary on her experience of living 43 days on skid row in Los Angeles will be released soon.

“The best way to fix the problem is though Mind, Body & Spirit Wellness.”

“Lunch On Me isn’t just about food. We are a Los Angeles based non profit dedicated to ending starvation while providing opportunities to enrich the mind, body and spirit of LA’s homeless community. Lunch On Me brings nutritious and organic meals to skid row six days a week, every week and no reaches 10,000 people a month. We redistribute organic food that would otherwise be wasted in order to create delicious and quality meals. Our initiatives also include yoga classes, community parties and healing gatherings for women. We believe that radical self-love is the foundation for permanent healing.”

“We are revolutionizing unity and empowerment for those who are broken and in search for hope. We are using our light to shine on the often invisible.”
